DeLonghi Clessidra Filter Coffee Maker:
Delonghi Clessidra Filter coffee maker delivers the taste and experience of traditional pour-over coffee at the touch of a button. Inspired by distinctive hourglass design, which recalls the ritual of slow coffee preparation, it sets new standard of filter coffee machine. It uses automated pulses of water to mimic the method and has a temperature sensor to keep the optimal brewing temperature between 92-96°C. The result is a coffee with more intense and aromatic flavour. This system has been approved by the European Coffee Brewing Centre which ensures precise brewing of the highest standard.
It comes with premium, heated glass plates and high capacity carafe (10 cups) which will keep the coffee warm for up to 40 minutes as well as adding an elegant touch to your kitchen. And it features anti-drip system which allows you to remove it for a quick cup whilst brewing is ongoing. Further, it is fairly easy to clean and comes with a practical descale alarm.
How to use this coffee maker:
- Fill the tank with fresh clean water up to the level indicated for the number of cups of coffee to be prepared.
- Place paper filter in the filter holder.
- Add ground coffee in the filter and level evenly.
- Close the filter holder and place carafe on the plate.
- Press the Optimum coffee brew button (left) for certified drip coffee or Pour over brew button (right). The white light indicates that the coffee maker is operating. And it emits a beep when delivery begins, then three beeps when it ends.
Care and Use:
- Use high quality, medium ground coffee for this coffee maker.
- Never immerse it in water.
- Do not use solvents, abrasive cleaning products to clean the coffee machine. Use a soft damp cloth only.
- Descale the appliance when the Optimum coffee brew button and Pour over brew button flashes (about every 25 cycles). (Check out the instructions in the user manual included.)
