Nescafe Dolce Gusto Genio 2 is a compact but powerful capsule coffee machine, perfect for smaller kitchens. It is sleek, stylish and sports a stunning titanium color metal body and drip tray with an intuitive joystick system. Just slide in one of the high-quality Dolce Gusto capsules compatible and prepare your favourite coffee effortlessly. Choose from a range of intense espressos, smooth cappuccinos, aromatic Grandes, even hot chocolate, teas, and many more. Also features XL function which will prepare extra large cup (300mL) of coffee.
Further, its professional grade 15 bar pressure-based capsule system brews coffee, be it hot or cold, with a thick, velvety Crema on top; a true sign of cafe quality beverages. Plus, it features Eco mode, which switches off the machine automatically after 5 minutes of inactivity. And as for maintenance, its part are easily removable for cleaning including the 1L water tank and there is a capsule bin to store used capsules.
How to use this coffee machine:
- Fill the water tank with fresh drinking water and insert it into the machine.
- Adjust drip tray position and place cup with correct cup size on drip tray.
- Switch on machine. After approx. 30 seconds, power button light turns steady green and machine is ready.
- Open locking handle and pull out capsule holder. Insert capsule in capsule holder and insert it back in the machine. Close locking handle. (Only use Dolce Gusto capsules, available here).
- Use the lever to illuminate the bars in accordance with the number of bars shown on capsule, or set the bar display to your own taste. Choose XL beverage for an extra large cup.
- Move the lever to the right for hot beverages and to the left for cold beverages. Beverage preparation starts.
- After finishing preparation, bar display flashes and power button blinks red for about 10 seconds. During that time, do not open locking handle.
- The machine stops automatically after extraction. Remove cup from drip tray and enjoy.
Care and Use:
- Never add hot water to the water tank.
- After brewing, make sure to remove the capsule from the holder. Then rinse and dry the capsule holder and insert it back into the machine.
- If left unused for more than 2 days, empty and rinse the water tank and refill it with fresh drinking water.
- Never clean the machine with running water or use detergents. Only use soft sponges/brushes.
- If the beverage comes out slower than usual (even in droplets) or it is cooler than usual, descale the machine. (Please follow the descaling instructions in the manual)
