Max Braun, a mechanical engineer, launched Braun, a premium German brand for electrical appliances, in 1921. From its humble beginnings as a small engineering shop, the brand developed from making radios and electric shavers, which it remains known for to this day, to manufacturing a host of consumer appliances.
